In Short? YES!
I’d recommend getting your application in ASAP.
If you’re applying for a job that’s advertised, don’t wait until the last minute to apply if you can
help it. Get your resume in early.
Recruiters generally shortlist as resumes come in or if they don’t, they will usually read them in
the order they came in.
As time goes on if they’re only interviewing ten candidates and they’ve already shortlisted five, it
becomes harder to impress the recruiter.
Before c()vid jobs were shortlisted within three days, even though advertisement may still be
online. It’s typically 1-2 days now.
I also recommend applying mid-morning throughout the week. Recruiters have had time to go
through the previous night’s applications, and yours will be fresh on their desk.
Not on weekends. Not on Monday’s (cause everyone else is).
